VidiVet Founder, Ben, has had dogs all of his life - It's almost part of the job descriptions for a vet! We can thank Ben's love for these dogs and his passion for veterinary care for the founding of VidiVet.
‘The Guv’nor’. Pip was Ben’s first ever rescue dog in February 2003. He set the foundation for Ben’s love of spaniels. He was with him all the way through vet school, and spent all of Ben’s early career joining him in clinics and having lots of adventures. A statesman, a legend, a brilliant dog. Pip passed away on 14th September 2015 aged 13.
‘The Lovable Rogue’. Monty is a 5 year old rescue English Springer Spaniel who Ben adopted in December 2015. How could you say no to those eyes? He is Ben’s right hand man and our secretary spaniel here at VidiVet. Where Ben goes, Monty won't be far away.
‘The Big Oaf’. Another rescue dog, Max spent the first 4 years of his life caged a lot. He was adopted as a companion for Monty. He was so full of live and bounce when he came home. He was a walking example of how happy all dogs should be. Sadly after only a year of living his new found fun life, Max passed away in November 2019. He was only 5.
Like any great company, it isn’t us that makes VidiVet special, it is you - our community. Our Fur Founders are the dogs and cats who helped us build VidiVet from the ground up, designed around the needs and desires of pet owners. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to help pet owners and their beloved companions all over the world. So we owe this all to them!
